Two local athletes have decided to utilize the transfer portal following the end the their college football seasons. Terion Stewart (Sandusky) is transferring from Bowling Green State to Virginia Tech. While Garrison Smith (Norwalk) is transferring from Akron to Florida Atlantic.
Stewart was a First Team All-MAC selection this past season as a running back. Stewart gained 898 yards on the year on 166 carries, scoring 6 touchdowns. Stewart has played for the Falcons since 2020.
Smith was in his first season at Akron this year. He was previously a walk-on at Ohio State before playing two season for I-AA McNeese State. Smith was a perfect 24 of 24 on extra points this year for the Zips and was 13 of 16 on field goals.

Jamiya Neal (Toledo Rogers) - Neal had 20 points in a Creighton loss to Villanova on December 21st.
Zeb Jackson (Maumee VCD) - Jackson had 14 points in a VCU win over William & Mary on December 22nd.
Sean Craig (Syl. Northview) - Craig had 6 points and 12 rebounds in an IUI loss to FIU on December 21st.
Jamir Simpson (Lima Senior) - Simpson had 20 points and 9 rebounds in a Southern Utah loss to Northern Arizona on December 21st.
MaKayla Elmore (Hopewell-Loudon) - Elmore had 10 points and 15 rebounds in a Pittsburgh win over Utah Tech on December 21st.
Cory Santoro (Bellevue) - Santoro had 14 points in a Canisius win over Siena on December 21st.

Dakota Mathias (Elida) - Mathias has 17 points on December 22nd in an Indiana Mad Ants win over Texas. On the 27th he had 23 points in a win over Salt Lake City.
Nigel Hayes-Davis (Whitmer) - Hayes-Davis had 19 points in a Fenerbahce loss to Partizan.
Martyce Kimbrough (Lima Central Catholic) - Kimbrough had 19 points in a Bydgoszcz win over Slask 2 on December 21st.
Zavier Simpson (Lima Senior) - Simpson had 25 points in a Club Napoca loss to Valcea on December 28th.
Taren Sullivan (Lima Bath) - Sullivan had 17 points and 11 rebounds in a Tokyo Trains win over Shanan United on December 28th.
