Trevor Harris ready for CFL season

Trevor Harris is back and ready to take the field. Last season ended prematurely for Harris, a Waldo native and Marion Pleasant graduate. Harris went down with a knee injury in Week 6 and missed the remainder of the season.
With a newly restructured contract, Harris is the Roughriders main man under center and the one they look to as they try and turn the organization around. The team was 3-1 last year before Harris’ injury and struggled to a 6-12 finish. With new pieces in the offense this season, Harris and company are looking to make a playoff berth.
Harris is a two-time Grey Cup champion and one time all star. He also holds three playoff passing records. The soon-to-be 38-year-old will be in his 12th year of Canadian Football. He has played for five different teams and this is his second season in Saskatchewan.
The preseason starts this week with the first regular season games starting in June. CFL games are available on ESPN+.
