Trevor Harris is looking to get the Roughriders back on the right track. The Roughriders are 0-6-1 in their last seven games, most of which were lost by only one score. Harris missed a chunk of the season due to injury but is back as the starter under center for Saskatchewan.
The Roughriders are two games back of the BC Lions with five games remaining in the regular season. Two of those games are against Harris’ former teams (Edmonton and Ottawa), and another is the ever important showdown with the Lions on October 12th.
In seven games played, Harris has 170 completions, 2,072 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Don Collins selected to Washington State Hall of Fame
Toledo Scott legens Don Collins was selected to the Washington State athletic hall of fame. Collins is the only Cougar to be named conference MVP, doing so in 1980. Collins was named to the All-PAC-10 First Team as a senior and was second team as a junior and sophomore. As a senior, he set the PAC-10 single season scoring record and was a second-team All-American. He also led Washington State to their first NCAA tournament in 39 years. Collins played in the NBA from 1980-87 and also the CBA during that same time frame. He then played in Europe until 1997. He was named the French league foreign MVP three years in a row.

Chris Bassitt (Genoa) - Bassitt earned the win on the 10th against his former team the Mets. He had 8 strikeouts and only gave up 1 run.
Andrew Chafin (Western Reserve) - On the 12th Chafin faced seven batters and only gave up one run in a Rangers win over the Mariners.
Jase Bowen (Toledo Central Catholic) - Bowen hit a home run on the 8th and had two RBIs for Double-A Altoona. On the 10th he went 2-for-4 with an RBI. On the 11th he went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. On the 13th he went 2-for-3 with two singles. On the 14th he went yard again for an RBI.
Kade Kern (Archbold) - On the 8th Kern had a double and a single for 2 RBIs for Single-A Augusta. Kern has since been promoted to High-A Rome.

Garrison Smith (Norwalk) - Smith was 4/4 on extra points and tacked on a field goal in an Akron win over Colgate.
Connor Walendzak (Perrysburg) - Walendzak had 9 rushes for 39 yards and touchdown while also catching 2 passes for 13 yards in a Toledo win over Mississippi State.
Braden Awls (Toledo Central Catholic) - Awls had 8 tackles and a pass deflection in a Toledo win over Mississippi State.
Cavon Butler (Whitmer) - Butler had 4 tackles and half a sack in a Toledo win over Mississippi State.

Natasha Howard (Toledo Waite) - Howard had 17 points and 6 rebounds on the 8th in a Dallas loss to Chicago. On the 10th she had 21 points in loss to New York. On the 12th she had 8 points in a loss to New York.
Zia Cooke (Toledo Rogers) - Cooke had 7 points on the 10th in a Los Angeles loss to Connecticut.
