Gold Medalists
Ella Borstelman of Napoleon took home gold in the girls Division II diving competition, leading in every round. She is just the fourth girl in NWO history to win a diving state title.
North Carolina State commit Max Buff of Toledo St. Francis won the boys Division I 100yd butterfly.
Silver Medalists
Trevor Madigan of Perrysburg took 2nd in the Division I boys diving competition. He was in first through the first two rounds but was edged out by Mitch Caldwell of Solon in the finals. Also taking a second place in the diving event was Liberty Center’s Joy Brown in girls Division II.
Oak Harbor’s Austin Sorg took runner-up in the boys Division II 200yd individual medley. Sorg also took second in the 100yd butterfly.
Nora Kunsman of Bryan took silver in the girls Division II 50yd freestyle and 100yd freestyle.
High School junior and Tennessee commit Mia Buff took 2nd place in the girls Division I 100yd backstroke. Brother Max Buff of Toledo St. Francis also placed 2nd in the same event.
Bronze Medalists
Kali Spengler of Wauseon took 3rd in the girls Division II diving competition.
Lily Baumgartner of Ada took the bronze in the girls Division II 100yd backstroke.
Mia Buff of Bowling Green took 3rd in the girls Division I 100yd butterfly.
Top 8 Placers
Edward Nyman of Toledo St. John’s took 4th in the Division I boys diving competition. He was in front of 5th place by over 53 points.
In the boys Division II diving competition, Xavier Fortier of Napoleon took 5th while Ethan Bailey and Griffin Diaz of Bryan took 6th and 7th.
In the girls Division II diving competition, Alysha Diemer of Ottawa-Glandorf was 4th, Emmaline Weaver of Napoleon was 7th and Jorja Swihart of Napoleon was 8th.
The Oak Harbor boys 200yd medley relay took 4th while the 400yd freestyle relay team took 6th in Division II. In Division I boys, Toledo St. Francis took 5th in the 200yd medley relay and 6th in the 400yd freestyle relay.
Thomas Lathrop of Ottawa Hills took 5th in the Division II boys 500yd freestyle while Claire Kemmere of Findlay took 7th in the girls Division I 500yd freestyle and 8th in the 200yd freestyle.
In the Division II boys individual medley, Thomas Lathrop of Ottawa Hills was 6th and Andy Jiang of New Bremen was 7th.
Lily Baumgartner of Ada finished 7th in the girls Division II 100yd butterfly.
Alayna Biehl of Margaretta took 7th in the girls 50yd freestyle and Jackson Newcomb took 8th in the 100yd freestyle in Division II. In girls Division I, Natalie Sanders of Perrysburg took 6th in the 200yd freestyle while in boys Division I Landon Harman of Toledo St. Francis tied for 7th. Sanders also took 8th in 100yd freestyle. In the boys Division I 50yd freestyle. Aidan Jansen of Anthony Wayne took 5th.
Top 20 team Scores
In girls Division II, Napoleon was 12th with 56pts. and Bryan was 17th with 34 points.
In boys Division II, Oak Harbor was 8th with 90 points.
In girls Division I, Bowling Green placed 7th with 33 points.
In boys Division I, Toledo St. Francis placed 7th with 119 points.
