How Northwest Ohioans are Faring in Pro Baseball

Chris Bassitt (Genoa) has 7-3 record as an ace for the Toronto Blue Jays. He has an ERA of 3.75 over 15 starts and 86 and a third innings pitched. Bassitt is leading the Blue Jays as they are in the thick of a playoff race in a very tight American League East Division.
Andrew Chafin (Western Reserve) started this season for the Triple-A Toledo Mud Hens, only to be released and sign with the Washington Nationals. Chafin has been a strong major league closer for the nearly a decade, it was only a matter of time before he was on a major league roster again, and with the Nationals he has an ERA of 3.18 and has only given up twelve hits against 54 batters faced.
Seth Lonsway (Celina) has played this season for the Double-A Richmond Flying Squirrels. Her has an ERA of 3.58. He has thrown 59 strikeouts over 65 and a third innings pitched.
Jase Bowen (Toledo Central Catholic) started the year for the Double-A Altoona Curve. During that time he had an OPS of .838 over 21 games. He was sent on an injury-rehab assignment to the Bradenton Marauders and Greensboro Grasshoppers. Bowen was called back up to Altoona on June 19th.
Jeron Williams (Archbold) was supposed to start the season with the Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks. He was, however, put on the injured list and sent on an injury-rehab assignment with the Rookie-League Astros for eight games. Williams was called back up to Corpus Christi on June 13th and has had six hits in eight games.
Kade Kern (Archbold) started the season on a rehab assignment with the Rookie-League Braves for four games. He was then called up to the Double-A Columbus Clingstones wear he appeared in four games, having a batting average a .300. He was then assigned to the High-A Rome Emporers where he appeared in one game before being put on the injured-list.
Connor Curlis (Findlay) is playing independent ball for the Chicago Dogs. He has started eight games and has an ERA of 2.41 while having 56 strikeouts over 44 and two-thirds innings pitched.
Ross Adolph (Van Buren) is playing independent ball for the Kansas City Monarchs. Adolph has 39 hits and 12 RBIs with a batting average of .275.
Adam Wolf (Edison) is playing for the Bravos de Leon in the Mexican League. He has appeared in 11 games and 35 and third innings. He has given up just 37 hits against 164 batters faced.
Deylen Miley (Bryan) is playing for Aquascalientes in the Mexican League. He has started 11 games and pitched 55 innings with 72 strikeouts.
