The Sylvania Northview product is representing his hometown well. In just his third season of minor league hockey Gordi Myer has been selected to the ECHL All-Star game.
Myer is currently in his second season with the Toledo Walleye after helping the team to a runners-up finish last season. This year Myer has four goals and seven assists through 28 games. Compare that to all of last season where he had 5 goals and 20 assists across 55 games.
Prior to the Walleye, Myer played his first year of minor league hockey for the Greenville Swamp Rabbits where he had 10 points on the year. That was after a four year career at Ohio State where he was a major factor on the team all four seasons and helped the squad to a 2019 Big Ten title. In high school, Myer played for the Cleveland Barons U18 team.
Gordi Myer will play in the ECHL All-Star Classic in Norfolk, VA on Monday January 16th.
