Chris Wormley signs with Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens announced that they have signed Chris Wormley to their practice squad. The Ravens are 0-2 so far this season and lack considerable depth on their defensive line.
Wormley spent time last year with the Panthers and appeared in 5 games, bouncing back and forth between the practice squad and active roster. Wormley entered the league in 2017 and is a serviceable veteran who has been linked to multiple free agency rumors this season.
Wormley is returning to Baltimore where he started his career after starring at Whitmer High School and for the University of Michigan. Wormley played for Baltimore from 2017-19 before joining the rival Pittsburgh Steelers from 2020-23.
Expect Wormley to be called up at some point this season as the Ravens go through the season with only five defensive lineman on their active roster.
Charlie Clark named to Team USA
Ohio State announced state senior swimmer Charlie Clark has been named to Team USA. Clark is a graduate of Perkins High School and been named to Team USA for four straight seasons.
Clark swims both the 1500 and 800 freestyle. He secured his Team USA spot with his times at the Speedo Summer Championships and World Aquatics Championships.

Andrew Chafin (Western Reserve) - Chafin faced three batters and struckout two in a Rangers loss to the Blue Jays on September 19th. On the 21st he was creditted with a loss against the Mariners.
Chris Bassitt (Genoa) - On September 17th, Bassitt threw two strikeouts in 3 and two-thirds innings in a Toronto loss to Texas.
Jase Bowen (Toledo Central Catholic) - On September 15th, Bowen hit a home run for Double-A Altoona.
The Campus Gridiron
Tyler Perkins (Norwalk St. Paul) - Perkins had 2 punts for 55 yards in an Iowa State win over Arkansas State.
Terion Stewart (Sandusky) - Stewart had 13 rushes for 42 yards in a BGSU loss to Texas A&M.
Brady Lichtenberg (Toledo St. John’s) - Lichtenberg threw 3 passes for 25 yards in a Cincinnati win over Houston.
Connor Walendzak (Perrysburg) - Walendzak had 11 rushes for 36 yards in a Toledo loss to Western Kentucky.
Bryson Hammer (Fremont Ross) - Hammer had 2 punt returns for 43 yards in a Toledo loss to Western Kentucky.
Emilio Duran (Ottawa Hills) - Duran punted 5 times for 209 yards in a Toledo loss to Western Kentucky.
On the Hardwood
Natasha Howard (Toledo Waite) - Howard had 26 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the Wings on September 15th in a loss to the Fever. On the 19th she had13 points and 7 rebounds in a loss to Las Vegas. Howard also announced that she will not be returning to Dallas next season and will be exploring free agency.
Zia Cooke (Toledo Rogers) - On September 15th, Cooke had 2 points in a Los Angeles loss to Seattle. On the 17th she had 9 points in a loss to Phoenix. On the 19th she appeared in the game but did not record any stats.
